Our love story- We met at the University of Kentucky. He was the athletic frat boy and I was the yankee. I knew on our first date that we would be together forever. I was in the equine science program so he took me to Keeneland for our first date to see the horses getting ready for the sale. Now he is getting ready to become one of the Navy’s finest aviators. We are stationed in Corpus Christi while he moves on to his next phase of training. We were traveling for Christmas/New Years and you never feel like you have enough time with the people you miss. Little did I know Michael was planning to propose. He met with my family while visiting and asked for my hand. He proposed in a bar on at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s surrounded by our friends.
